Free Cloud Services from Oracle

Trying to find a free hosting service for your small project or your website?

Tired of those shared hosting services, where it’s unreliable, company (therefore services) may not last for long?

Why don’t give some free cloud services a try? You might be aware of AWS free tier services, which allows you to run an ec2 instance free for 12 months or similarly in GCP? Have you heard of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)? They are offering free tier too and you can continue to run your virtual machines for after your trial period (2 standard VMs + up to 4 ARM based VMs).

How do I get it?

Go to the signup page of Oracle Cloud. To find out what you are going to get during the trial period + what’s ongoing free services, you can find out from here.

Fill up the form with your country, first name, last name, email address (make sure you have access to this email inbox) and validate the captcha challenge and click “Verify my email” button. You will then receive an email to confirm the validity of your email.

Click on “Verify email” button in your email and fill in the information (select “Individual” under “Customer type” if applicable) then click Continue button.

Once completed, click “Continue” button.

Fill in your address, phone number, and then click Continue to continue with Payment Verification section.

Click “Credit Card” on the prompt, and fill in your credit card details on the next prompt.

Then click “Finish” button. Once verified, it will go back to the details screen, where you will then click on “Start my free trial” button. Follow any steps afterwards as required to complete the registration.
